PrivyDock
Terms of Service
Last updated · April 20, 2026
By installing or using PrivyDock, you agree to these simple terms. We've tried to keep the legal stuff short and honest.
Early access
PrivyDock is still being polished for general release. Features may change as we learn from users. We'll always tell you when we change something that matters.
Use it with care
Start with apps you can safely test. Restore all your private apps before you uninstall PrivyDock — if you delete the app first, a small recovery note next to each hidden app will guide you to bring them back manually.
Built for casual privacy
PrivyDock is for everyday moments when you want apps out of sight. It is not admin-proof, tamper-proof, a parental-control system, or a replacement for proper security tooling. Anyone with admin access to your Mac can find the hidden apps.
What not to do
- Don't use PrivyDock to hide anything unlawful.
- Don't use PrivyDock on Macs you don't own or control.
- Don't resell PrivyDock or misrepresent it as security software.
Subscriptions and trials
PrivyDock offers a seven-day free trial with no card required. After the trial, you can subscribe monthly or annually, or buy a lifetime plan during launch. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the Account section of the app or by emailing us.
Refunds
We offer a 30-day, no-questions-asked refund on any paid plan. See our Refund Policy for details.
The guarantee we can make
Even if your subscription lapses or is cancelled, you can always restore your apps. PrivyDock's restore feature works whether or not you're a paying subscriber. We will not hold your apps hostage.
No warranty
PrivyDock is provided "as is." We care deeply about reliability and we test heavily, but software is software. Keep backups, and start with apps you can safely test.
